• Howard & Jones   Lenton Dean Thompson Sr. Jesup—Lenton Dean Thompson Sr., 82, affectionately known as “Big Pappa Dean,” died peacefully on Feb. 17, 2025, at home. A native and lifelong resident of Wayne County, he was born on Dec. 18, 1942, to the late, Lenton and Pauline Batten Thompson.

• Rinehart & Sons   Patricia Bryant Jesup—Patricia “Patti” Park Bryant, 76, of Jesup died on Feb. 13, 2025, after a short illness. The Wayne County native was the heart of the Jesup High School Class of 1966 and a lifelong fervent Yellow Jacket enthusiast.
