Edna Walker Scott Annapolis, Maryland—Edna Walker Scott, 74, of Annapolis, Maryland, died Jan. 9, 2021 after a brief battle with lymphoma (cancer). She was born at Ritch-Leaphart Hospital in Jesup on Oct. 12, 1946, to the late Lembrick Gabel and Conyers Elizabeth (Parker) Walker.

Rev. David Carlton Ring Jesup—The Rev. David Carlton Ring, 80, of Jesup, devoted husband, went home to be with the Lord June 29, 2021. He was a 1958 graduate of Odum High School and attended Georgia Tech.

 Marie “Fritz” Reddish Sutton Jesup—Marie “Fritz” Reddish Sutton, 93, of Jesup died June 20, 2021. The Wayne County native was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Shirley Clark Sunday School Class. Her family said it was so blessed to have her in Savannah for the past six years.

 Margie Williams Crabb Jesup—Margie Williams Crabb, 77, of Jesup died June 15, 2021. The Wayne County native had lived in Jacksonville, Florida, with her predeceased husband, Richard Crabb. They enjoyed many years of golfing, traveling and community projects in the Duval County area.

  Sidney B. Strickland Jesup—Sidney B. Strickland, 78, died June 9, 2021, at home under the care of GHC Hospice. He was born to the late Sid and Jewell Landon Strickland in November 1942. He worked as a trucker over the road for many years until he got into the logging business with his sons.

  Jackie Ray Hendricks Jesup—Jackie Ray Hendricks, 72, of Jesup died June 2, 2021. The Ware County native had lived in Wayne County most of his adult life and was a retired Interstate Paper employee. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kristy H. Ellis, and son, Jimbo Hendricks.

Harold L. Hanson Jesup—Harold L. Hanson, 85, died peacefully in his sleep on May 17, 2021. He was born near Ruthven, Iowa, on June 29, 1935. He was the son of Harry and Joan Hanson. He graduated from Ruthven Consolidated School. In 1954 he married Norma Ann Lewis.
