 Leonard “Len” M. Hauss Jesup—Leonard “Len” M. Hauss, 79, of Jesup died on Dec. 15, 2021.  The Wayne County native was a member of Jesup First Baptist Church and a 1960 graduate of Jesup High School, where he was a three-year Yellow Jacket letterman as a fullback, lineman and linebacker.

Ryan Donald Brown Jesup—Ryan Donald Brown, 26, of Jesup died Dec. 1, 2021 from injuries sustained from a car accident. The Wayne County native was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a boilermaker with a Local Union No. 26 out of Savannah.  The outdoorsman loved to hunt and fish.

Jerry L. Lightsey Metter—Jerry L. Lightsey, 73, of Metter and formerly of Jesup died Nov. 22, 2021. The Appling County native was a Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church member and a former restaurant manager with the Captain Joe’s restaurants.

Sherry Starling Lynn Jesup—Sherry Starling Lynn, 56, of Jesup died Nov. 20, 2021, of an apparent heart attack. She was born on Dec. 2, 1964 and was educated in the Wayne County school system, graduating in 1983.

Joseph Thomas “Joe” Willis Jr. Jesup—Joseph Thomas “Joe” Willis Jr., 68, of Jesup died Nov. 8, 2021. The Glynn County native had lived in Wayne County the past 35 years and was a member of Crossroads Church of God and an active member of the CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association).

David N. “Bull” Cameron Screven—David N. “Bull” Cameron, 86, died suddenly Nov. 4, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah. A resident of Wayne County for most of his life, he was born on April 1, 1935, in Jesup to the late Clyde and Addie Coleman Cameron.
