  Johnny  Lenard Price Sr. Jesup--Johnny Lenard Price Sr. of Jesup died March 7, 2020. He was born in Stigler, Oklahoma, on April 4, 1950, to Millard Marvin Price and Mary Ann Price. He was of the Christian faith and graduated from Genoa Central High School.

Greg Boyette Screven--Greg Boyette, 58, of Screven died March 2, 2020. The Jacksonville, Florida, native had lived in Wayne County most of his life and was a member of Screven First Baptist Church. He was a former welder who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mother Vera Dell Smith Jesup--Mother Vera Dell Smith, 88, of Jesup died Feb. 25, 2020, in her home as a result of a house fire. She was born on April 25, 1931, to the late Johnny and Annie Mae Hendrix in Bulloch County. She was educated in the Manasseh (Tattnall County) school system.

  Buddy Rozier Ludowici--Buddy Rozier, 67 of Ludowici died Wednesday, February 26, 2020.  The Long County native was a member of First Baptist Church of Ludowici and a retired ITT Rayonier Forest Division employee.  He loved hunting, fishing and outdoor life.

Stanley Lawrence Atlanta--Stanley Lawrence, 58, of Atlanta died Feb. 19, 2020. He was born on Feb. 28, 1961, to Coreatha Wright and Joe Nathan Law-rence in Jesup. He was inducted into the Wayne County Sports Hall of Fame in 2003.

Bob St. Dennis Jesup--Bob St. Dennis, 89, of Jesup died Feb. 17, 2020. The New York native had lived in Wayne County most of his life and was a U.S. Navy veteran who was in the last group of underwater demolition soldiers before they became U.S. Navy Seals.

Carol Hairred Jesup--Carol Hairred, 73, of Jesup died Feb. 11, 2020, under the care of Your Family Hospice. The Wayne County native and former resident of Brunswick had lived in Wayne County the past several years and was a retired department head of respiratory therapy at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Ida Mae Curry Jesup--Ida Mae Curry, 81, died Feb. 6, 2020, at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She born Jan. 6, 1939, to the late Burnies and Annie Mae Durden in Doctortown. She and the love of her life, Bernard Curry, were married for 63 wonderful years, her family said.
