Ryan Donald Brown

Jesup—Ryan Donald Brown, 26, of Jesup died Dec. 1, 2021 from injuries sustained from a car accident.

The Wayne County native was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a boilermaker with a Local Union No. 26 out of Savannah.  The outdoorsman loved to hunt and fish.

He was predeceased by his great-grandmothers, Melba Simmons, Edna Creech and Beulah Kay Vickers.

Survivors include a son, Wyatt Easton Brown of Jesup; parents, Misty and Thomas Flowers of Jesup and Donald Brown of Washington; a sister, Josie Brown of Jesup; a fiancée, Dana Michelle Davis, and her parents, Cindy and Terry Davis, all of Cedar Crossing; other siblings, Molly Warren of Nashville and Jackson Brown of Nashville; a stepbrother, Greg (Pamela) Flowers of Jesup; a stepsister, Christina (Alex) Romano of Jesup; grandparents, Gene (Janice) McLain and Della Jean McLain, all of Jesup; aunts and uncles, Charlotte (Norman) Franklin, Mack McLain, Dorenda Brown, Shane and Shay Boyette and Rhonda Brown; a special great-uncle and great-aunts, Dan and Lanette McAlister, Linell Roberson and Scarlett Richman; several cousins, including Melvin Kirkley; and other extended-family members.

Funeral services were held Dec. 4 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Pastor Vann Dempsey officiating. Interment was in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.  Active pallbearers were Walker and Weston Franklin, Jackson Brown, Jake Spell, Roy Tabb and Buddy Sands. Honorary pallbearers were Greg Flowers, Chris Warner, Alex Romano, Matt Spell, Keith Vickers, Hagen O’Quinn, Jonathan (Shay) Thompson, Joshua Corry and Local No. 26 members.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to the Wyatt Brown Scholarship Fund, c/o Misty Flowers, 267 Mona Avenue, Jesup, GA 31545.
