Jesup--Fannie Pearl Manuel McGauley, 87, of Jesup died July 20, 2019.
She spent most of her life in Wayne County and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. The homemaker loved taking care of her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Theron McGauley, and a daughter, Linda Ward.
Survivors include five daughters, Shirley (Richard) Walker of Hinesville, Betty Bouton, Brenda (Joseph) Westberry and Tammie (Richard) Graham, all of Jesup, and JoAnn Ronfoe of Orlando, Florida; three sons, James “Buddy” McGauley of Jesup, Raymond (Dina) McGauley of Jesup and Travis (Alicia) McGauley of St. Augustine, Florida; two brothers, Woodrow (Mary) Manuel of Jesup and Marvin Manuel of Charleston, South Carolina; a sister, Eva Damon of Jacksonville, Florida; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held July 23 at Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Revis Wasdin, Pastor Anthony Hipps and the Rev. Keith Lairsey officiating. Entombment followed in the Moody-Tillman Cemetery in Appling County. Active pallbearers were her family.
Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Jesup--Martha Smith Harrison, 62, of Jesup died July 21, 2019.
The Wayne County native was a Christian and was predeceased by her parents, Jake and Unave Westberry Smith; brothers, Randy and Douglas Smith; and sister, Sue Smith Shipes.
Survivors include a daughter, Torrie (Robert) Swenson of Jesup; grandchildren, Dylan Swenson of Hoboken and Brianna Swenson of Jesup; three sisters, Pat Fore of Ludowici, Frances Friese of Jesup and Jessie Horner of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania; and three brothers, Lamar Smith of Odum, Wayne Smith of Jesup and D.J. Smith of Kingsland.
Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Calvin Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Jesse Ray Boleman
Jesup--Jesse Ray Boleman, 79, of Jesup died July 20, 2019, at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born in Hartwell to Kermit Boleman and Gatha Brady Boleman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Aline Anderson Boleman.
He was a maintenance supervisor for NES and enjoyed saltwater fishing and working.
Survivors include five sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Boleman of Lakeland, Florida, Jesse and Sondra Boleman of Texas; Billy and Dawn Boleman of Jesup, Lee Boleman of Mississippi and Joe Boleman of Mississippi; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Ronnie Smith of Mississippi; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
There will be no services at this time.
