Roger Lee Ingram Sr.
Screven—Roger Lee Ingram Sr., 63, died July 12, 2016, at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born Nov. 23, 1952, to Evelena Fullmore and Robert Ingram in Wayne County. “Reb,” as he was known by his family and close friends, was educated in the Wayne County school system. He was employed with Mickey Meats of Odum for many years. He enjoyed fishing and sports of all kinds.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Evelena and Robert Ingram; a son, Roger Ingram Jr., and a brother, Forest Ingram.
He is survived by his companion, Margaret Jenkins of Screven; five daughters, Yolanda Ingram of Jesup, Dylinda Taylor of Blackshear, Shannon and Sandra Frazier, both of Screven, and Erica Carter of Patterson; four sons and their spouses, Jeffery and Nakisha Taylor of Adairville, Ky., Robert Taylor of Louisville, Ky., Roger and NaToya Ingram of Waycross, and Eric and Derrick Jenkins of Screven; one sister and one brother-in-law, Yvonne and Colon Foster of Jesup; one brother, Edward Ingram of Odom; seven aunts and their spouses, Earlene Fullmore of Jesup, Pauline and Charles Carter of Baxley, Elnora and LeVan Gordon of Jesup, Wennell Isley of Baxley, Betty Nassau of Atlanta, Bobbi Nell Ingram of Glennville, and Rheudine and R.J. Beal of Odum; three uncles and their spouses, David Fullmore of Jesup, Jobie Ingram of Jesup, and Edward and Shirley Ingram of Odum; two brothers-in-law, Ernest Carr of Jesup and Roger Carr of Tampa, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Lottie Strahan of Orlando, Fla., and Sara Savage of Tampa, Fla.; a friend, Je’Rhajh “RaRa” Frazier; and a host of other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held today (Saturday) at 3 p.m. at Emory Chapel United Methodist Church, located at 311 N. Hickory St.
Interment will be in Odum Grove Cemetery.
Royal Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Melissa McNeal Rose
Jesup—Melissa McNeal Rose, 32, of Jesup died accidentally on July 12, 2016.
She was a member of Altamaha Baptist Church and a former clerk/cashier for Harvey’s Grocery in Waycross for several years.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, John F. and Mary Nell McNeal, and maternal grandparents, Emmett and Peg Scanlon.
Survivors include her daughters, Jamie Lynn Rose and Hannah Elizabeth Rose of Jesup; parents, John R. and Mary McNeal of Jesup; a sister and brother-in-law, Shannon and Ryan Beasley of Jesup; a brother, John A. McNeal of Jesup.
Memorial graveside service will be held today (Saturday) at 10 a.m. at Altamaha Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Lee officiating.
Family will receive friends at the cemetery.

Joseph Bruce McLendon
Apopka, Fla.—Joseph Bruce McLendon, 54, died June 5, 2016, in the Orlando Regional Center in Orlando, Fla., after an extended illness.
The Wayne County native had lived in Florida for more than 30 years. He worked in construction for many years.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Wilbert and Doris McLendon; a brother, Wayne McLendon; and a sister, Shirley McLendon.
Survivors include three sisters and one brother-in-law, Linda McLendon and Phyllis Brantley, both of Jesup, and Kathy and Jerry Rogers of Hazlehurst; one brother and one sister-in-law, Larry and Melba McLendon of Jesup; several nieces and nephews; a devoted pet, Oakly McLendon; and a former wife, Eileen McLendon.
He was buried July 9 in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home of Orlando, Fla., was in charge of arrangements.
