Lois P. Cameron
Columbus—Lois P. Cameron, 86, of Columbus died June 15, 2018, in Midland.
She was born April 4, 193,2 in Jesup and was the daughter of the late Johnnie W. Lynes Sr. and Renna Murray Lynes. She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church; the X, Y, Z Club; and the NCO Wives Club, and she was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and delivered meals on wheels.
She was a supportive military wife who traveled to many countries, including Germany and Japan. She was an avid gardener with a large variety of beautiful flowers in her yard. She enjoyed crafting, sewing and crocheting. She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elbert C. Cameron; and her brothers, Johnnie W. Lynes Jr. and Chester Wendell Lynes.
Survivors include her children, Linda C. Englebert (Steve), Brenda C. Bowen (Kenneth “Ken”) and Lisa Dryden (Robert “Bob”); grandchildren, Laura Englebert Shaw (James), Kelly Englebert English (Jeffrey), Bethany Bowen Deason (Justin), Jarrod Bowen (Sheree), Kimberly Dryden Haase (Bradley), Jeremy Dryden (Nikki) and Mindy Dryden Green (Lee); and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 18 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory in Columbus with the Rev. Scott Tucker and the Rev. Andy Ginn officiating. A private interment was held at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery.

Clyde Kevin James
Nahunta—Clyde Kevin James, 43, of Nahunta died at his residence June 14, 2018. He was a captain at GEO D. Ray James Detention Facility.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Vikki Bennett James.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal James; three children, Mason James, Owen James and Emma James; his father, Robert James; a brother, Nathan James, and his wife, Tracy; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held June 18 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home. Burial followed in Manning Cemetery in Camden County.

Jesup—Matthew Lee “Matt” Zeeb, 28, of Jesup, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Graveside funeral servicea were held June 18 at 2 p.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery with pastor Ray Worley officiating.

Jesup—Kenneth P. Vanesko, 64, a longtime employee of the city of Jesup, died June 17, 2018, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
