Tiffany Daniels James

Jesup—Tiffany Daniels James, 37, of Jesup died May 25, 2018, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Ogle-thorpe Road.

The Wayne County native was a 1999 graduate of Wayne County High School and a case manager with Job Training Unlimited South Georgia. She enjoyed fishing with family and friends.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Sadie Bigon and Nelson James; maternal grandfather, Homer Tyre; and three cousins, Jerrod Tyre, Michael Moore and Miranda Anderson.

Survivors include a son, Brant Landon Daniels of Jesup, and his father, Joe Daniels; her mother and father, Rick and Janice James of Odum; a sister, Terry Lee Feltham of Jesup; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Shane and Jennifer Poppell and Justin and Kimberly James, all of Jesup; a maternal grandmother, Josephine Tyre of Jesup; and nieces and nephews, Kimball, Eric and Sadie Feltham, Caleb and Carson Poppell, and Josie and Aubrie James.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Altamaha Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Lee and the Rev. Devin Mixon officiating. Interment will follow in Altamaha Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family and friends.  Honorary pallbearers will be members of her 1999 Wayne County High School graduating class.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to services at the church.

The family requests memorials be made to Brant’s Education Fund, 13823 Lanes Bridge Road, Odum, GA 31555.

Glynn T. Sapp

Jesup—Glynn T. Sapp, 77, of Jesup died May 27, 2018, after an extended illness.

The Wayne County native was a member of Unity Church of God and a retired, well-respected insurance broker whom many people relied on for their insurance  planning.

He loved to restore old cars as well as fish and hunt.

He was predeceased by his sons, Glynn Jr. and Bryan Sapp; parents, Barney and Ruby Sapp; and a sister, Mary Lesher.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Faye Ogden Sapp of Jesup; two daughters and sons-in-law, Leisha and David Carver of Brunswick and Dana and Mike Carroll of St. Simons Island; grandchildren, Dillon Carver, Heather (Kyle) Rogers, Seth and Madison Carroll, and Kyler and Dawson Sapp; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Shirley Christian, Linda Carter, both of Jesup, and Barbara Jean and Hank  Hernandez of El Paso, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Calvin Anderson officiating. Interment will be in George Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Dillon Carver, Seth Carroll, Kyler Sapp, Dawson Sapp, Brandon Carter and Euell Ogden.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Church of God, 1580 Sunset Blvd., Jesup, GA 31545.

Carol Lynn Epps Sykes

Odum—Carol Lynn Epps Sykes, 46, of Odum died May 28, 2018, under the care of Hospice of South Georgia after an extended illness.

Graveside funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 3 p.m. at Altamaha Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Lee officiating.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery.
