Frankie Yeomans Bailey
Jesup—Frankie Yeomans Bailey, 87, of Jesup died April 5, 2019, in Cotton Grove Estates under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.
A Wayne County native, she attended Jesup Church of God and, in her later years, House of Worship and Ministries. She was a retired employee of Waynline, Wayne Industrial and Bailey Drilling Company. She loved working in her garden and sewing, but her favorite pastime was spending time with children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Austin R. Bailey; parents, Alvin and Mozena Yeomans; infant son, David Bailey; two sisters, Jean Jones and Shirley Brannen; and two brothers, Warner and Maxie Yeomans.
Survivors are a daughter, Suzanne (Larod) Bowen of Jesup; three sons, Randy (Sue) Bailey of McDonough, Russell (Linda) Bailey of Jesup and Alvin Bailey of Punta Gorda, Florida; a brother, Earl (Jo) Yeomans of Jesup; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. April 7 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Mickey Tomberlin officiating. Interment will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be caregivers of Cotton Grove Estates and the staff of Hospice of South Georgia.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
