Pamela Davis Grantham
Screven—Pamela Davis Grantham, 56, died April 10, 2018, at Candler Select Medical Hospital in Savannah.
She was a native of Wayne County and lived there most of her life. She worked as a communications officer for 18 years, serving Wayne County 911, the Georgia State Patrol and Brantley County 911. She was known as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and was a Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Nora Davis, and a sister, Gail.
Survivors are her husband, D.V. “Bunny” Grantham of Screven; daughter, Michele Manning of Dublin; son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Lisa Brown of Dublin; stepdaughters, Whitney Kicklighter of Jesup and Kristen Dru Grantham of Chattanooga, Tennessee; brother, Mike Davis of Townsend; and grandchildren, Katelynn, Mallory, Sarah, Kaylee Jo and Fisher.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. April 13, 2018, at New Hope Cemetery in Ambrose with Dr. Charles Houston Jr. officiating.
Floral remembrances are suggested, as the deceased loved flowers.

Edna Viola “Tootsi” Ellis
Jesup—Edna Viola “Tootsi” Ellis, 90, of Jesup died April 9, 2018, in Harborview Care Facility after an extended illness.
The Wayne County native and longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida, was an employee of a magazine-distribution house for many years. She was predeceased by sisters, Minnie Edmerson, Vernice Chancey, Azile Williams, Lettie Bertha Wiggins, Willa Bell Denison, Ruby Moore and Frankie Vickers, and brothers B.F. Jr., James and Coy Ellis.
Survivors are a brother, Carl O. Ellis of Jesup, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside funeral services were held at 2 p.m. April 12, 2018, at Altamaha Baptist Church Cemetery with Morris “Bo” Wright officiating.
Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup was in charge of arrangements.
 
Oscar Harris
Odum—Oscar Harris, 61, of Odum died April 10, 2018, after an extended illness.
The Wayne County native was a member of O’Quinn Baptist Church and a retired ITT Rayonier employee. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hunting and farming. He was predeceased by his parents, Winton C. Sr. and Emily Harris, and a sister, Janet Harris Gay.
Survivors are his loving wife of 30 years, Sonya Strickland Harris of Odum; four daughters, Mandy (D.J.) Schneider, Shannon (Justin) Tyler and Melissa (Cory) Crow, all of Tifton, and Oscara (Ben) Tyre of Screven; 12 grandchildren, Jacob and Caleb Schneider, Lexi, Audrie, Cameron Rutland, Amelia and Ariel Tyler, Jonathan, Tristan and Brooklynn Crow, Adalyn and Lakelyn Tyre; two brothers, Winton C. (Gail) Harris Jr. of Tucker and Jonny M. (Toni) Harris of Odum; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held April 12, 2018, at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Greenlee and the Rev. Darrell Carter officiating. Interment will be in the Liberty Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Ben Tyre, Cory Crow, Jon Harris, Paul Harris, Wade Williamson and Steve Williamson. Honorary pallbearers will be retired and current ITT Rayonier employees.
