John David Oglesby Jr.
Jesup—John David Oglesby Jr., 67, of Jesup died March 26, 2018, at his residence and under the care of Heartland Hospice.
The Millen native had lived in Wayne County most of his adult life. He worked as an automotive salesman with several companies, enjoyed raising homing pigeons to race and watching University of Georgia Bulldog football.
He was predeceased by his parents, John David Sr. and Josephine Bryant Oglesby Kittrell.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Virginia “Ginger” James Oglesby of Jesup; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jonathon and Jennifer Oglesby of Jesup and Nathan Oglesby of Springfield; three grandchildren, Courtney Weinman and Jordyn and Katilyn Oglesby; a great-grandson, Carter Manning; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Carolyn Harris of Rincon, Linda and Joe Rowland of Rincon, Faye and Bobby Strickland of Guyton, Nancy and Howard Schaffer of Gibson and Patricia and Lonnie Holmes of Gibson; a brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Lois Oglesby of Springfield; a mother-in-law, Judy James of Jesup; several nieces, nephews and cousins, including special caretakers, Roger and Debra Oglesby; and his faithful companion dog, Roscoe.
Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery with Dr. Al James officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. prior to services at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, 161 North Macon Street, Jesup, GA 31545.

Zachary Taylor “Zach” Harrill
Allenhurst—Zachary Taylor “Zach” Harrill, 21, of Allenhurst died March 25, 2018.
The Wayne County native former resident of Camden County and Jesup had attended Wayne County High School and Victory Tabernacle Church of God. He was a technology specialist with Verizon Cellular Sales in the south Georgia market.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being with his family.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Dale C. Anderson.
Survivors include his wife, Morgan Ridenour Harrill of Allenhurst; two daughters, Blythe and Blair Harrill of Allenhurst; a mother and stepfather, Paula and Alan Carter of Jesup; a father, Gene D. Harrill of St. Marys; maternal grandmother, Linda “Meme” Anderson of Jesup; paternal grandparents, Yates “Papa” and Mary L. Harrill of Kingsland; two sisters, Madison Harrill and Olivia Carter, both of Jesup; and several cousins and extended relatives.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Lairsey, Matt Denison and Jordan Denison officiating. Private interment services will be held by the family.
Visitation will be held today (Wednesday) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory Tabernacle, 6050 South U.S. Hwy 341, Jesup, GA 31546.

Jesup—Joseph “JoJo” Cutter, 57, of Jesup died March 23, 2018, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on March 29 at 11 a.m. at John First Born Holiness Church.
