Randall Lee Manning

Jesup--Randall Lee Manning, 44, of Jesup died March 18, 2019, as a result of injuries sustained from an automobile accident on Nine Run Road, Screven.

He was a cabinet maker and mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and being with his family.

He was predeceased by his father, Ronald Lewis Manning.

Survivors include his companion of 23 years, Jackie Mansfield of McKinnon Community; two daughters, Shyenne (Charles) Igo of Odum, Shawnee Manning of McKinnon Community; his mother, Arlene Manning of McKinnon Community; three sisters, Candee Harris and Rhonda Honaker both of Jesup and Julie Tyre of K’ville Community; brothers, Matthew Manning of McKinnon Community and Jeff Strawder of Ohio; and two grandchildren, Sophia and Covin Igo.

Graveside funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at Manningtown Cemetery with the Rev. Dale Bange officiating.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

 

Brady Allen Strickland

Jesup--Brady Allen Strickland, 47, died March 18, 2019, at Memorial Health University in Savannah after a short illness. 

A native and lifelong resident of Wayne County, he was a carpenter by trade who owned and operated Strickland Construction for many years. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing and building race cars in his spare time. He was passionate about carpentry work and loved refurbishing old things and building new furniture.

He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Dilburn Strickland, and his brother, Bruce Wayne Strickland.

Survivors include his wife, Candy Strickland of Jesup; children, Jesse (Caeley) Roberson of Jesup, Jacqulyne (Joseph) Collins of Odum and Angel Strickland Chancey of Alabama; his  mother, Cherrie Day (Jervis) Graham of Winder; brothers, Franklin (Paula) Strickland and Britt (Lisa) Strickland, all of Jesup; grandchildren, Harmony and Raylan Collins and Braxton Roberson; adopted brothers and sisters, Christy, Justin, Adrianne, Kenneth and Ashley Graham; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Rooster Manning officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church.

Active pallbearers will be Jesse Roberson, Jeff McIntosh, Jimmy Strickland, Bryan Strickland, Britt Strickland and Jason Davis.
