Patricia Coleman Edwards
Jesup—Patricia Coleman Edwards, 72, of Jesup died peacefully at her home on Nov. 3, 2016.
She was a graduate of Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, where she received her degree as a registered nurse. Born Dec. 25, 1943, to the late J.T. and Elizabeth Stubbs Coleman in Leslie, she was one of seven children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, J.T., Joe, Frank, and Marvin Coleman, and sisters, Jane Davis and Barbara Stewart.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry J. Edwards of Jesup; a daughter, Rene Dove of Brunswick; a son, Christian Fowler of the USMC; five stepsons and their spouses, Kevin Edwards of Jesup, David and Anissa Edwards, Timmy Edwards, Joey and Tammy Edwards, all of Ludowici, and Michael (David Crosby) Edwards of Quitman; two stepdaughters and a stepson-in-law, Tina Blue of Ludowici and Mary and Chad Carter of Ludowici; 24 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; special friends, Helen Hulett and Janice Glenn; and a loving golden retriever, Carly.
Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stanley Todd and the Rev. Cliff Adams officiating.  Graveside services will be held at 4  p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dooly County with the Rev. John Penney officiating.  Active pallbearers will be her family. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Heartland Hospice.

Hubert Lonnie Blanton
Odum—Hubert Lonnie Blanton, 78, of Odum died Nov. 7, 2016, after an extended illness.
The Wayne County native was a Baptist and retired Rayonier employee who enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was predeceased by his parents, Lonnie and Eva Mae Anderson Blanton, and a sister, Emma Lee Sweat.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Joyce Jacobs Blanton of Odum; a daughter, Lisa Blanton Himes of Brunswick; sisters, Evone Riggs of Jesup, Etwendel Fennell of Odum, and Latrelle Durrence of Jesup; a brother, Larry Blanton of Alma; grandchildren, Angel Himes of Odum, Kirstyn Driver of Jesup, and Trey Himes of Brunswick; and great- grandchildren, Railyn Driver and Seth Himes.
Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Horne and the Rev. Dickie Waters officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family. Honorary pallbearers will be his fishing friends.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.

Sharon “Lynn” Christmas Woodson
Jesup—Sharon “Lynn” Christmas Woodson, 58, of Jesup died Nov. 6, 2016, after an extended illness.
The Duval County, Florida, native lived in Wayne County the past 25 years and was a registered nurse, working with Hospice Care and several nursing homes. She enjoyed cooking.
She was predeceased by her parents, G.I. and Kathryn Dixon Christmas.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Randall “Randy” Woodson of Jesup; a daughter and son-in-law, Kristina and James Stewart of Martinsburg, West Virginia; sons, Jeremy Woodson of Jesup and William “Will” Woodson of Martinsburg; a sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Gary Smith of Savannah; and a mother-in-law, Nancy Woodson of Jesup.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mike Von Moss officiating. Interment will be in Enon Cemetery in Blackshear. Active pallbearers will be members of her family.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
