Sandra Lee Perry
Jesup—Sandra Lee Perry, 64, of Jesup died Nov. 1, 2017, after a short illness.
The California native had lived in Wayne County the past 20 years and was a clerk at Harvey’s Supermarket.
She loved to fish and enjoyed the outdoors and animals.
Survivors include a husband, Greg Perry of Jesup; a daughter, Crystal; three sons, Michael, Eddie and Joseph; and several grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with the Rev. David Bohannon officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
 
Curtis Samuel Beaver Jr.
Jesup—Curtis Samuel Beaver Jr. died Nov. 2, 2017, at his residence and under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.
The New York native had lived in Wayne County most of his life and was a devoted member of Everett Baptist Church. He was a retired truck driver and loved to fish and hunt.
He was predeceased by his son, Curtis Samuel Beaver III; parents, Curtis and Loretta Beaver; and a sister-in-law, Marianne Beaver.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Florine Turner Beaver of Jesup; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jeffrey Klingler of Milton, Florida; two sons, Aron Daniels and Andrew Beaver, both of Jesup; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Diana Davis of Odum and Karen and Dean Pate of Florence, South Carolina; a twin brother, Warren Beaver of Jesup; nine grandchildren, Thomas, Kimberly, Ellenor, Neo, Cheyenne, Zorien, Nicolaus, Loretta and Averi; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Red Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Sikes and the Rev. Bill Manning officiating. Interment will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be David Westberry, Steven Westberry, Keith Byard, Travis Carter, Chris Peterson and Ryan Mullis.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. prior to services at the church.

Robert Lee Butts
Brunswick—Robert “Bobby” Lee Butts, 64, of Brunswick died Nov. 1, 2017 at Southeast Georgia Health System.
He was born on Feb. 8, 1953 in Brunswick. He was a graduate of Brunswick High School and worked as an electrician at Hercules and as a plant manager at Allied Chemical.
He was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, camping and cooking for others.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Paulette Butts; his father, Henry Prather Butts; his mother, Patricia H. Wright; his stepfather, Lindsey C. Wright; and his brother, John Wayne Butts.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Eric Jaime and Chassity Butts; his daughter and son-in-law, Karla Benea and Bill Pefanis; his grandchildren and a grandchild’s spouse, Mikayla and Andrew Thomas, Mikenzi Thomas, Jacob Butts, Mallery Pefanis, Jayden Butts and Jayda Butts; his brothers, James Daniel Butts and Ronald Alan Butts; his sister, Lisa Coleman Spores; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held today (Saturday) at 2 p.m. at Lighthouse Baptist Church with the Rev. David Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Palmetto Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Williamson III, Jason Butts, Michael Jones, Gary Simmons, Chuck Strickland and Caleb Smith.

Frances H. Long
Ludowici— Frances H. Long, 79, died Nov. 2, 2017, at Cotton Grove Estates in Jesup under the care of Georgia Hospice Care. Born in Savannah, she had lived in Long County most of her life.
She was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife, a member of Georgia Farm Bureau and the Farm Bureau women’s chairman for many years. She also served on the Long County Library Board.
She was a dedicated member of Rye Patch Baptist Church and served as pianist for more than 40 years. She also sang in the gospel trio Joyful Noise for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darwel “Rabbit” Long; a daughter, Laura Long; and siblings H.B. Golden, Willene Shaw, Elaine Williamson, Billie Ann Hope and Gene Hope.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Harold Long and David and Yvette Long of Ludowici; her grandchildren, Scott Long and Hope Long of Ludowici; her sister-in-law, Eula Long of Ludowici; her brother-in-law, Estes Nazworth of Jacksonville, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Nov. 3 at Howard Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held today (Saturday) at 11 a.m. at Rye Patch Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Yarborough and Kenny Long officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Kenny Long, John Long, Jordan Long, Gerald Baxter, Rodney Phillips and Keith Stanfield.
