Lloyd Scott “Scotty” Peace
Patterson--Lloyd Scott “Scotty” Peace, 49, of Patterson died early in the morning on Dec. 25, 2019, at Memorial Satilla Health following a sudden illness.
Born in Hollywood, Florida, on June 20, 1970, he had lived in Pierce County since 1973. He was a 1988 graduate of Pierce County High School and a 1990 graduate of Okefenokee Technical College, where he received his degree in electronics. He was a member of Offerman Baptist Church and was a die-hard University of Georgia Bulldog fan. He loved rock music and lived for the weekends so he could grill out and be with his friends. He dearly loved his family and friends and was “just an all-around good guy,” according to his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edsel Adrian Peace.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Connie Bagley Peace of Patterson; a daughter, Lindsie Peace of Patterson; a son, Trevor Peace (fiancée Molly Strickland) of Blackshear; his mother, Fann Pitts Peace of Patterson; three aunts who were more like his sister, Tracee (Michael) Smith of Patterson, Kim and Erald Pitts of Jacksonville, Florida, and Jan and Gene Chesser of Callahan, Florida; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held Dec. 27 at Offerman Baptist Church. Interment was in the Offerman Cemetery.
