Landon Gage Robinson
Nahunta—Landon Gage Robinson, 4, died peacefully Nov. 6, 2018, at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross.
He was born Aug. 7, 2014, in Brunswick. He loved watching cartoons, especially Paw Patrol, and playing with his toys. His contagious smile and cheerful and friendly demeanor will stay in his family and friends’ hearts forever, his family said.
Survivors include his mother, Hali Clark Robinson and father, Blake Robinson, of Nahunta; brothers, Levi and Mason Robinson; maternal grandparents, Timothy and Melissa Clark of Hortense; paternal grandparents, Johnny Robinson of Atkinson and Susan Settles of Eastman; a maternal great-grandmother, Jean Cravey of Brunswick; a paternal great-grandmother, Pearline Straight of Atkinson; a special aunt, Heather Clark; and a host of aunts, uncles, and extended-family members.
Visitation will be held today (Saturday) from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup with graveside services following at 2:30 p.m. at the family cemetery in Popwellville, 91 Otter Road, Hortense, GA 31543.

Screven--Eddie Tyre, 67, of Screven died Nov. 6, 2018, of injuries sustained from a car accident.
He lived in K’ville most of his life and was a retired carpenter. A U.S. Army veteran, he loved Jesus, his family, and ministering through his woodworking skills. His favorite pastime was focused on his grandchildren and their activities.
He was predeceased by his parents, Dub and Wilma Tyre, and a granddaughter, Walton Leighla Tyre.
Survivors include three children, Graham (Dana) Tyre of Nicholls, Summer (Billy) Vaughn of Virginia and Exley Tyre of Springfield; five grandchildren, Kayden Tyre, Johnni Lyn Tyre, John Michael O’Brien, Tyler Vaughn and Ethan Vaughn; two brothers, Steve (Sandra) Tyre and Ray (Robin) Tyre, all of K’ville; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service was held Nov. 9 at O’Quinn Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Campbell and the Rev. Gerald Greenlee officiating. Interment was in O’Quinn Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were his morning-coffee- group friends.

Glen R. Crews
Jesup--Glen R. Crews, 60, of Jesup, died Nov. 8, 2018, in Jesup Healthcare Nursing Home after an extended illness.
Memorial services will be held No. 12 at 1 p.m. at Jesup Christian Fellowship with Pastor Harold Hand and the Rev. Ryan Wilson officiating. Visitation is prior to services.

Lila Weatherly Jordan
Dublin—Lila Weatherly Jordan, 82, died Nov. 6, 2018, at Serenity Place in Dublin after a brief illness.
She was born Nov. 14, 1935, in Cadwell and was the daughter of the late Dorothy and Guy Weatherly Sr. of McRae.
She was a graduate of McRae-Helena High School and received a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Georgia Teachers’ College in Statesboro. She completed her master’s degree and education specialist degree in early childhood education from Georgia Southern College. She retired after teaching first grade in Louisville, Waynesboro and Jesup. While she was in Jesup, she was a member of Freewill Baptist Church and WMU.
After moving to Dublin, she resided at Dublin Place for 11 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dublin, where she attended the Mary Martha Sunday school class.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Grady Weatherly, and by her parents.
Survivors include her brother, Guy (Janet) Weatherly Jr. of Cedar Grove; Jane Weatherly (Richard) Epting of Dublin; Tot Weatherly Free of Swainsboro; a sister-in-law, Lila Faye Weatherly of Dublin; and her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She also leaves behind her special caregivers, Alzatie Floyd, Elizabeth Balkcom, Cynthia Mitchell and Deloise Tinsley.
Funeral services were held Nov. 9 at Lowe‚Äôs Funeral Home, followed by a private graveside service for the family.
