Christy Johnson Crump
Jesup—Christy Johnson Crump, 40, of Jesup died Oct. 4, 2016, in Memorial Medical Center in Savannah.
The Wayne County native was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Ludowici and was a homemaker who loved to cook and take care of her family. She will be remembered for the smile that was always on her face and her patience, according to her family.
Her grandparents, Cecil and Wilma Obie Tyson and Lottie Wilder ,preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Curtis Crump of Jesup; a daughter, Halie Crump of Jesup; a son, Curtis Wayne West of Brunswick; parents, Truman and Nancy Johnson of Jesup; two sisters, Lois Johnson Reece (Tricia Reece) of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, and Jennie Johnson Hope of Jesup; a brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Heidi Johnson of Jesup; a niece, Bethany Chester; nephews, Ty Reece, Robert Landis, Joshua Landis, Mark Johnson Jr., Brandon and Austin Hope, Pink Brown, Xavier Boatright, Jeremiah and Cody Porterfield and Christopher Foster; a great-niece, Kenzie Reece; great-nephews, Kyson Reece, James and Larry Stone Jr; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Scott and Holly Crump of Hinesville and Michelle and Eric Jefferson of Hopehull, Alabama.
Memorial services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Stanley Todd officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
