Dwaine Adolfus Adams

Jesup—Dwaine Adolfus Adams, 56, a native of Chicago, Illinois, and resident of Jesup died Oct. 26, 2018, at his residence following a long battle with lung cancer.

He was born on April 26, 2018, to the late, Irma Adams and Peter Washington in Chicago.

He was preceded in death by both parents and his stepfather, John Ratliff.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Garcia-Adams; his children and stepchildren, Dwaine-Puda (Myiah) Adams, Danielle (Antione) Irving, Nicole (Arturo) Pascual, Nicholas Garcia, Frank (Brandi) Garcia, John Garcia, Tina (Brandon) Wilkins; his siblings, John Ratliff, Anthony (Barbara) Adams, Rosyln Adams, Bernadette (Frank) Adams-Miller, James Adams, Carmen (Vincent) Hopson; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at Turning Point Worship Center, 1810 S. Palm St., Jesup.

Royal Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Virginia L. Johnson

Ludowici—Virginia L. Johnson, 80, of Ludowici died Oct. 27, 2018, at her residence after an extended illness. Funeral services were held Oct. 30 at Elim Baptist Church with Pastor Austin Burgess and Tom Ainsworth officiating.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Billy “Paperboy” Trenerry

Jesup—Billy “Paperboy” Trenerry, 59, of Jesup died Oct. 25, 2018, after an extended illness.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
