Vinnie Lynn Autry
Odum—Vinne Lynn Autry, 75, died Easter Sunday morning, April 1, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a short illness.
She was born on Jan. 17, 1943, in Arcadia, Florida, to the late Catherine and Carl Fenton. She was a 1961 graduate of DeSoto County High School, attended Manatee Junior College and later graduated from the Florida Beauty College in Jacksonville.
In addition to her parents, her sister, Judy Fenton, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, William M. Autry III of Odum; a son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Rachel Autry of Odum; two granddaughters, Meghan and Kaitlyn; one sister, Tanya Glatt of Fort Meyers, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended- family members.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister will be missed by family and friends. No services are planned.

Leroy Young
Jesup—Leroy Young, 80, of Jesup died April 1, 2018, at Harborview Nursing Home.
He was born Nov. 14, 1937, to the late, Lottie Moses in Wayne County. He was educated in Wayne County Training School and was a member of Mount Mariah AME Church. He was a seasonal worker most of his life and, according to his family, enjoyed his life to the fullest.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lottie Moses; her sisters, Norma J. Bennett and Johnnie M. Phillips; and a brother, Ora Akins.
Survivors include his siblings, Elzina Green and James Phillips of Brooklyn, New York, Shirlene (James Larry) Armstrong of Jesup and Colliss Phillips of Douglas; his special friend, Rose McMiller-Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at Mt. Mariah AME Church. There will not be a wake.

Artist LeVon Reddish
Screven—Artist LeVon Reddish, 65, of Screven died April 4, 2018 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 10, 1952, to the late Susan Fennell and Tony Reddish in Wayne County, where he was educated at Northside High School.
He was preceded in death by both parents and his siblings, Mary L. Trice, Joe Luis Reddish and Donald L. Reddish.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Sheila Evans-Reddish of Screven; a daughter, Aimmae Pearce of Screven; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Antonio and Ronicea Reddish of Jesup and Spence Pearce Sr. of Screven; six grandchildren, his oldest being Spence Pearce Jr., also known by his grandfather as “Bigfoot”; a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and M.J. Wilkerson of Charleston, South Carolina; a brother, Ronald Reddish of Brooklyn, New York; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
